Demolition

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are licensed by the cities we operate in, if applicable. We also carry a State of Nebraska workforce development license. Our Insurance coverage contains a $1,000 automotive policy, statutory workers compensation policy and a $1,000,000 / $2,000,000 general liability policy with a $4,000,000 umbrella policy over that.

Do you take care of asbestos and or hazardous materials?

Although we do not handle those materials through O’Neill Transportation and Equipment we can get you lined up with an asbestos inspection, removal, and a full line of environmental solutions through our sister company.

Do you provide documentation the project was completed legally and correctly?

We can provide you with landfill receipts, asbestos inspection, utility signs offs, permits and photo documentation if requested.

Landfill

What types of material are allowed in a Construction and Demolition debris landfill?

Our Landfill is allowed to accept all inert wastes from construction and demolition sites. This includes glass, wood, painted materials, sheetrock, roofing, concrete, brick, and similar materials. We can not accept food waste, fast food wrappers or bottles, liquid wastes, friable asbestos, or hazardous wastes.

Are there any special requirements to use this landfill?

We only ask that you come in and open an account prior to disposing of waste in the landfill. Accounts can be opened in person.

Do you recycle any of the waste?

Recycling is limited right now to removal of the concrete, steel, aluminum and other easy to sort materials. We will be opening a recycling facility in the near future!

Mulch

How much area does a cubic yard of mulch cover?

One cubic yard of mulch will cover just about 100 square feet at 3.5 inches thick. An easy way to calculate mulch coverage is to take the width of the area times the length to get the square footage.

What is the advantage of your bulk mulch over bagged mulch?

Our mulch is made from 100% local trees which helps limit the spread of tree diseases. Also buying in bulk gets you fresher mulch at a lower price.

How much mulch can I fit in my pickup?

A short box truck can usually hold two to two and a half yards. A long box truck will hold three and a half to four yards.
